How to set up User Roles

How to set up User Roles


This article will show you how to set up a User role and assign it to your Users.

  1. Click Settings.
  2. Click Users.
  3. Click Create User Role.
  4. You will be redirected to the Create User Role Page.
  1. Create a Label. This will be the title of the Role.
  2. Choose the permissions you will want this Role to have within Zangerine. See image below:




  1. At the bottom of the page, Click Save User Role.


Next, do the following to add a User to the new Role.

  1. On the Settings menu, Click Add User.
  2. You will be redirected to the Add User page.
  1. Select their Job Title.
  2. Fill the fields for personal information, and location.
  3. Select the Role previously created. See Image below:


  1. Set the User’s Email and Password.
  1. Click Create User.


When this User logs into Zangerine, they will have access to the areas given to them through the Role you created and assigned their account to.



Tip: If you click the bottom box between the permission fields it will auto-select the boxes in that same field above it.
