Summaries of Zangerine Menu

This article will go over Zangerine’s menu. It provides a brief overview of what can be found within each section of the menu. This will better help you understand which section you’ll need to accomplish specific tasks.

When logging into Zangerine you will be presented with the Dashboard. Here you will find quick links to your products, orders, and customer lists.

On the left is a menu that allows you to navigate Zangerine. The menu items are as follows: Dashboard, Catalog, Sales, Customers, Warehouse, Shipping, Purchasing, Receiving, Reports, Marketing, Content, and Settings. When you click an item, it will expand to show you further options.

Catalog will show product listings including stock location and inventory history, a place to organize your product categories, lists of your serial and lot numbers with inventory counts and location history, a place to create alternative names for your products called Cross References, and a list of manufacturers to track where your product comes from.

Sales will focus on orders and quotes. Here is where you will fulfill incoming orders placed by your customers, and also where you will handle returned materials using Zangerine’s RMA system. Your full order, quote, and RMA history will be displayed here.

Customers will store information about your customers' payment methods, if they are affiliated with specific companies, and any credits you’ve given to them. Here you can see a customer's order history, contact information, and create groups to organize your database.

Warehouse will provide a list of orders waiting to be fulfilled under Pending Fulfillments. You will also be able to both access your product list and transfer inventory between warehouse locations within the system. Lastly, you will have access to the Zangerine Calendar.

Shipping keeps the records of any complete or partially fulfilled orders. You can generate packing slips for your orders with the Print Box Labels option. Like the Warehouse section, there is also a Calendar here to track orders and shipments.

Purchasing is where you find your current and previous purchase orders, and where you create new ones. Along with purchase orders you can manage the vendors you buy from and keep track of which products are low on stock.

Receiving provides a list of purchase orders that have not been received yet and connects you to the receiving module once you are ready to receive in your orders. The receiving module can be used manually or with a scanner.

Reports is where you will find information ranging from Sales and inventory to accounting and shipping. Zangerine will collect data throughout your database to generate these reports and display them according to filters you set.

Marketing allows you to create and manage coupons. You can also track your competitors and manage reviews here.

Content is where you can edit certain aspects of your website and manage any media you have uploaded to Zangerine.

Settings handles your database’s configurations for the previous sections along with access to data import tools. You can also handle the settings for your users in this section.
