Setting up Link Preview for your website

This article will discuss how to set the preview for your website when your link is sent in a messaging service.

An example of this is www.apple.com/iphone, which is set to show an image of an iphone instead of the front page of this website. See image below:

 

 

You can also do this for your website. The image you want to use should be at least 300x200 px, and less than 300 KB. 

Note: The image will need to be uploaded into the root of your media folder, and will need to be titled homepage-facebook.jpg. 

Follow the below steps for more information:

 

  1. Click Contents.

  2. Click Media.

    1. You will be redirected to the Media Folder. See image below:

 

 

  1. Click the Upload button.

  2. Click Add file(s).

  3. Select the image from your device to use as your website preview.

    1. Make sure the image is named homepage-facebook.jpg.

  4. Click Start Upload.

 

 

Note: Please note it can take some time before the new image starts appearing.
