How to Apply Coupons in a Sales Order

See the How to Create Coupons article for more information.

1. Click Sales.
   
2. Click Create Order.
   
3. You will be redirected to the Customer Select page.
   

1. Select the Customer.
   

4. You will be redirected to the new Sales Order.
   

1. Add your Product to the sales order.
   

5. Click Update.

   Note: Coupons will become available after clicking Update.
   
   

6. Click the Coupon drop down menu. See image below:
   

1. Select the Coupon.
   

7. Click Update.
   

1. The Total Discount will include the adjustment made by the coupon, and the new total will show on the Grand Total line. See image below:
   

8. Tips and Tricks:
   

1. Some coupons will not show until their product restrictions have been met.
   
2. Some coupons are available before adding product, because they do not have any product restrictions.
   
3. If you cannot find your coupon, double check your coupon’s settings.
   

1. Also check you have clicked Update after adding your product.
   

3. You cannot stack Coupons in a sales order.
   

Note: If you have Tiered Pricing on a product, the system will allow you to apply the discount from both Tiered Pricing and Coupons at the same time.
