Fractional Inventory
This article will show you how fractional inventory works within Zangerine. This is used to keep track of inventory that does not amount to complete units, or that you have in bulk and need to measure out to fill orders, such as liquids.
In inventory fields for products, you can enter fractional quantities and save them. See image below:
You can build kits using partial inventory quantities as well.To take existing products and break them down to add to kits, see image below:
Note: Fractional inventory is not meant to be used inside of sales orders. This is meant to be used only for inventory tracking.
